About eduroam

Opening your laptop with direct access to the internet? With eduroam it can be done. As a student or staff member you have wireless access to a host network within the SURFnet target group using the logon data you use at your own institution.

Are you for instance a student at Hogeschool van Amsterdam taking a subject at Amsterdam University? At both institutions you can make simple and secure use of the wireless network thanks to eduroam.

Even more institutions that are connected to SURFnet participate in eduroam, allowing users to make secure use of the institutions' wireless and fixed networks. This trend is gaining momentum not only in the Netherlands, but also abroad.
